Safety is a core value of our business. Sending our people home safe and well every day is our fundamental duty and drives us to relentlessly improve health, safety and wellbeing performance within our business.
Some organisations believe you can change a safety culture by counting the behaviours, whilst other organisations believe you can focus the culture by simply stating that safety is the number one priority. We believe that excellence is achieved by making safety a core value and by creating a coaching community which sustains itself. To support this, we are proud to launch our new ABC, Aligned Browne Culture Programme.
Our programme commences with the Development Day module which will enable individuals to restructure their beliefs and attitudes about safety, themselves, their working practices and ultimately to understand the day-to-day choices they make in the workplace.
Each session is attended by a member of the J Browne Senior Management Team to deliver the opening segment of the module. Jonathan Dodd, J Browne’s Group Commercial Director addressed the attendees of the inaugural session: “We challenge behaviours and in doing so create a strong health, safety and wellbeing culture. The Development Day is an energising event that all our staff, clients and supply chain personnel will find invigorating and thought provoking. It goes far beyond solely behavioural safety.”
