Role Purpose
To lead a team of up to two operatives undertaking civils work on the drainage network
Role Summary
To receive and follow instructions given by the Supervisor or Ganger on site
To load, transport and offloading plant, materials, tools, and equipment to site and from site
Work with the team on site to perform the 3rd person duties
To ensure that any vehicle you are driving is road worthy before you drive it by undertaking and recording daily vehicle checks
To ensure that any vehicle you drive is maintained clean and in good order
To ensure that any load you are transporting is properly secured
To always wear and ensure that everyone else on site, including visitors, also wear the mandated and appropriate personal protective equipment (clothing) which is provided by the Company
To work safely and in accordance with the training received, company work instruction and daily site-specific work risk (SSWR) assessments
To only use tools and equipment supplied by the Company and that you have been specifically trained and/ or accredited to use
To keep the vehicle, plant, tools, and equipment always clean and serviceable
Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post
