Volunteers continue Enfield Lock enhancements

This week a team of volunteers from our Enfield HQ applied the sun cream and braved the extreme temperatures to complete some refurbishment work on Enfield Lock. The lock is on the River Lee Navigation and is part of a section of the waterway that we have adopted through the Canal & River Trust.  This section of the canal is a significant habitat for wildlife and has a houseboat community nearby and the tow paths are also regularly used by our local community for walking.

Environment is one of our four core company values that drive the way we operate as a business.  Our Environment value means that we will take tangible measures to respect and enhance our local community and environment.  Our team are committed to restoring the River Lee area over the coming years with our new SHEQ Administrator, Gary Mitchell becoming the latest recruit.

Well done to all the volunteers!
