Browne collaboration achieves 42 days saved disruption

Browne are delighted to have recently taken part in works which achieved an impressive total of 6 weeks saved disruption across the London Borough of Brent.

The works were a joint effort between Browne, Thames Water, Cadent Gas, the Greater London Authority and Brent Council to improve the local gas and water networks. Browne worked closely with Thames Water to deliver mains rehabilitation, reducing the risk of leaks and flooding across the local network, while Cadent Gas replaced old iron gas mains with plastic pipes to deliver a safe reliable gas supply to residents. Our successful coordination of programmes with the other companies played an important role in limiting disruption to Brent’s residents and local businesses.

We’d particularly like to celebrate Joanna Barry, our Planner, for planning and arranging bus stop and parking suspensions, switch outs and works under full closure with the GLA to achieve this saved disruption.

These works are truly a testament to what can be achieved when organisations across different sectors work together towards a common goal. Through successful planning and coordination of the project, Browne has again demonstrated the importance of collaborative efforts in delivering essential services to our customers.
