Technical Specification
Experience Required
Experience health and safety advisor minimum 2 years’ experience ideally in utilities or construction.
Essential Qualifications
Nebosh general certificate, NVQ or similar in Occupational Health & Safety.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience of the Construction Industry
Experience in utility or civil engineering contracting (preferred)
Understanding of sewerage network operations
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Health & Safety Advisor
Level 3 AET instructional qualification – (PTTLS)
Role Purpose
To provide health and safety, security and environmental advice to the CBUL O&M, Reactive Civils and Planned Work teams, and work with the teams to ensure company procedures and statutory requirements are in place.
Role Summary
Provide competent H&S, Security and Environmental advice and reports to the company as required
Undertake workplace inspections and audits, undertake accident / incident investigations as required
Undertake project work when required
Working with both internal and external clients as required,
Attend meetings with both internal and external clients as required.
Occasional out of hours working will be required.
Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post
