Cappagh Contractors and J Browne Construction Company are delighted to announce a circa £150m contract extension with Southern Water Services for its joint venture business Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd (CBUL).
CBUL have re-secured the React and Maintain Operational Partner contract for Southern Water’s sewerage infrastructure network to deliver their AMP 7 programme. We will continue to work with Southern Water to drive efficiency and innovation to deliver a range of improvements for their customers under their Business Plan through to 2025.
CBUL have also secured a place on the Low Complexity Delivery Route (LCDR) contract which will increase the total turnover with Southern Water to £225m.
The awards strengthen the long-term relationship between Cappagh and J Browne that has existed since 2008. The Cappagh Browne Utilities board is delighted to collaborate with Southern Water to deliver exceptional customer service, frontier safety performance and excellent value for money and celebrated with the Framework extension with the delivery of a new 18t Canalmaster Recycler.

Cappagh Browne Utilities’ Framework provides sewerage infrastructure network maintenance and network upgrade services across Southern Water’s entire region – Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The contract which began in April 2015 will now run to the end of March 2025.
