Back in February, J Browne’s launched their new recognition and reward scheme “BrownE Points”. This is a reward scheme whereby any employee can nominate a fellow colleague for an award, with winners being selected quarterly. The 3 categories were:
We had a great response to our first quarter with some impressive reasons for the nominations. There were a few suspicious entries; Jeremy, I’m sorry but you can’t nominate yourself!
The challenge of picking the winners was down to our Board of Directors. Paul McMahon says “It was an extremely difficult task to pick the winners from the group of impressive nominees put forward. The commitment demonstrated our staff to going the extra mile for our colleagues and our customers is something we as a business are very proud of. Well done to all.”
And the winners are…
Customer Champion – Catherine Hull, Planning Manager at the Slough Customer Service Centre
Reason: Catherine is the worthy winner of this award for the impressive way she dealt with a highly emotional and stressed customer. Catherine remained calm, professional and highly effective so that the works were completed speedily. A commendation email was received from Thames Water on the great job and the high level of customer service received.
Valued People – Wayne Blaney, Supervisor on our WNS contract
Reason: Wayne is the worthy winner of this award in recognition of his helpful attitude and willingness to go the extra mile in supporting colleagues and clients.
Health & Safety Leader – Marius & Gabriel Tiru, Operational Gang on our WNS contract.
Reason: Marius and Gabriel are worthy winners of this award having recently received a green card when audited on site by our client Lanes. The auditor commented that it was an ‘impeccable site’. This award is in recognition of the high health and safety standards that both Marius and Gabriel constantly achieve on site.
