Vacancy for Project Manager - Enisca Browne

Reports to:               Framework Manager

Direct reports:          Project Engineers, MEICA Senior staff and site operatives

Liaising with:            Operations, support departments, sub-contractors, client

Enisca Browne are a fully integrated civil MEICA design and delivery service providing innovative, sustainable and quality solutions to the water industry.  We have a history of engineering excellence. Our services include civil, process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation, design and manufacture of Control Panels, MCC’s, PLC’s, SCADA and automation systems.

We have an immediate requirement to appoint 2 M.E.I.C.A Project Managers to work as part of multi-disciplinary projects in the South East clean water non-infrastructure industry. 

Job Purpose

To deliver and manage multiple construction projects, leading our project engineers and delivery teams. To act as the key day to day client interface, ensuring objectives are met and projects are delivered to time and cost targets whilst ensuring appropriate health, safety, environmental and quality standards are met.  

The Person

Reporting to a Framework Manger, you will be responsible for leading and managing all technical, health & safety and commercial aspects of MEICA Civil Projects, Pre, Post and during construction. You will interface with Clients and Senior Management, inclusive of sub-contractors’, materials suppliers.  You will create and maintain cost and resource loaded programs for weekly maintenance of the project environment. You will maintain change management processes. You will be commercially aware of Legal and Financial elements of Contracts and their implementation. A good working knowledge of NEC suite of contracts is a must for this role.

You will ideally be qualified in either Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering with demonstrable experience in MEICA loaded projects, and have a qualification in management or demonstrable management experience in a multidisciplinary Construction environment.  You will be able to understand essential systems and have a broad brush understanding of  the associated disciplines to clean water projects. You must be dynamic in your approach to your work, a dedicated people person, capable leader and a competent manager. 

Personal Requirements:

  • Related engineering Electrical Mechanical or Civil engineering qualification to Level 5 NVQ, CGLI, HNC or HND, with appropriate experience in project management in Water or a related industry
  • Demonstrable experience in people leadership and management
  • Programme management in MS Project; P6 would be an advantage
  • IOSH or NEBOSH general certificate would be an advantage
  • Microsoft Office literate
  • Commercial reporting in Excel
  • 2 D and or 3D CAD literate BIM/REVIT is an advantage but not necessary
