Comercial Development

J. Browne Construction has completed a number of sub-contract packages for commercial developments which have involved a combination of our capabilities in demolition, groundworks, drainage, utilities, highway and footway construction, general civil engineering and hard and soft landscaping.

For the new Tesco store at Edmonton, we carried out demolition, groundworks, utility diversions, drainage, carriageway construction, car park construction, petrol forecourt construction and Section 278 highway works on behalf of both Tesco and Ikea.

At MSD Harlow, we completed soft landscaping, a major sewer connection in a heading, a new fire water main using GRE pipe, carriageway re-surfacing and general civil engineering works.

For the extension of the Asda stores at Dagenham and Beckton, we carried out groundworks, pile caps construction, ground beams construction, drainage, utility works, concrete floors, new access routes, car park extension and re-surfacing.

At Forbury Square, we completed groundworks, reinforced concrete foundations, reinforced concrete basement slab and walls, basement waterproofing, drainage, utility works, new paving, landscaping, street lighting, street furniture and Section 106 works for Reading Borough Council.

The above projects are typical examples of our ability to combine our wide range of skills to provide a single point of solution for all civil engineering and utilities requirements at or below ground level.
